An Unexpected Journey
Being a freelancer reminds me of the 'The Secret Life of Walter Mitty', its an invitation into the unknown, out of your comfort zone leading to an unforgettable experience that will change you forever. As a Freelance Video Editor, I've spent the last few years living an unexpected journey, making a way, learning and tackling the new challenges that come with each day gathering new skills in this ever evolving medium taking the roles of Production Assistant and Assistant Editor on the side.
Now a skilled and tenacious video editor with in-depth knowledge in a variety of editing programs, a results-oriented attitude and eye for visual narrative. I look forward to the next challenge in media and film production whether your in a small business, corporation, production house, real estate firm, non-profit or entrepreneur. Providing for your post-production needs, in offline, motion graphics and colour correction with versatility in a variety of editing programs such as Adobe CC and Final Cut Pro X.
I enjoy the time given with my lovely wife, local friends, community, bike riding, and geeking out about films. Don't even get me started on Star Wars.
“We live in a box of space and time. Movies are windows in its walls. They allow us to enter other minds, not simply in the sense of identifying with the characters, although that is an important part of it, but by seeing the world as another person sees it.” -- Roger Ebert
